The Forest Medallion was once the Wind Medallion, while the Water Medallion was once an Ice Medallion.

Ocarina of Time: Master Quest was originally developed as a disk-based expansion of the original game for the 64DD add-on. He will alternate between the two main attacks mentioned above until you defeat him.Zelda_link_boy_ultra contains a file named boy/anim/clink_demo_DDbox_open.anb. Note: Volvagia may try to trick you by switching to several different pits sequentially so make sure you can see all nine of them until he finally emerges. Volvagia will go back into the lava pit and you will have to play whack-a-mole yet again. Keep an eye on the ground to check for shadows that show where the boulders will hit (they usually only drop where Volvagia is at, so even if you can't see him, you can still use the falling rocks to figure out his general location). Once you damage him for a second time, the dragon will fly out of your view and start to drop boulders on you. He will then re-enter another pit, so you will have to repeat the above step once again.
Lock on to him and strafe in a circle while using your shield to block his fire breath or use your hookshot/bow to hit him while he is flying. After a few hits, Volvagia will emerge from his fiery pit and fly around. Quickly rush over to him, avoiding his fiery breath, and hit him on the head with your megaton hammer, he will then be stunned and you can strike him with your sword or use your megaton hammer a second time. He will start out in one one of the nine pits of lava in the floor, you can tell which one he will be coming out of by a small stream of lava seeping out of the corresponding hole. Strategy for Volvagia: The strategy for defeating Volvagia is an extreme version of Whack-a-Mole.
